Roadmaps and Mindmaps

When thinking about the video game(s) there are so many tasks, goals and milestones. I have been thinking about Roadmaps and how to visually show that. I am not sure I want it to be a image, but rather a some kind of horizontal/linear tracking that can be updated either though markdown or via git. What is nice about GitHub projects is that I can implement Kanban and Roadmaps. But the one thing about Roadmaps, is that they are not mindmaps....

First Bash Script

There are alot of tech things that I still want to learn more about. The first is scripting. I am still learning Python and that is taking a while, but its worth it as I can now understand what small bash scripts like to change file names better. The second is Video DJ systems and lighting systems. It might be fun to learn this. The third is Godot and linux games that also use keyboard inputs....

Plants and Travel

I am looking froward to starting plants from seeds and hopefully putting them in containers in Spring. I have so many seeds, and I am looking forward to both flowers and veggies. I also hope to do some gorilla gardening. I also want to make a game that somehow combines the growth of the plants and the many different plants to Stoic philosophy teachings. Also something I am looking forward to is travel in Spring....

Game Development

With the approach of the release of CRG… and I think its a good time to document the journey so far. Some initial thoughts: Its expensive. Having a team help has speed up the project, but its also alot of time and money and resources. Its good to understand the game engine. I have been learning on Boot.Dev alot about back end development. I am also learning Godot from GameDev.tv. These two paid online learning platforms have really helped me better understand how to create new games and have given me ideas on how to make my own game better....

Red Green Refactor

After going to creative writing group and showing off the CRG, the co-leader commented that the game reminded him of why we founded the group. The group was from the Walking Mountains nature center, focused on creative writing about nature. Some of the initial written pieces were about pessimistic views of humans and nature. So when I present a positive, forward view of sustainable transportation via a video game, it reminded him of the origin’s of the group....
