After no real rain for weeks, the monsoon rain finally arrived.

For 20 minutes the heavy bands of rain blanketed the mountainside.

Waterfalls coerced down from high places.

Sheets finally banded across the trees.

Large droplets turned pools to lakes.

The drop in temperature, led to sensations and new smells.

Flashes surprised, thunder rumbled.
