When playing Civ 1, Civ 5 I use these strategies:

  • Unlock the Wheel and Chariots and play as Rome and take over the world.
  • Turtle for a long time and focus on Research/Tech then take over the world.
  • Early Expansion and then hold till end game with Space Ship.
  • Play as Rome in Civ 1 and take over world.
  • Play as England in Civ 1 and turtle the whole game.

If I were the game developer for Civ and could alter Civ 1, I would like more options to play in Modern era and not have to have that be end came content. I would also like more scenarios and would like a city builder like early Sim City 2000 within Civ 1.

I have been thinking about mini games within games, like hunting or fishing in Oregon Trail, or lock picking in Starfield for the loot boxes which I don’t really like.

I don’t think there are mini games in Civ series, but I think having these really makes games more valuable, unless they are the lock picking.

Some mini games I want are:

  • CRG game: luggage game on train, photo camera game when visiting a location.
  • CRG game engine: Some kind of ski game, but can also be used for biking and hiking.
  • Sauna game: Pouring water on the rocks to make steam Löyly, breathing in an out.

It would be great if I could figure out the code to make these mini games across multiple games, but learning how to code different mini games might be a good idea. I just need to write them down and code them out.
