There are a couple things I don’t like doing last minute. Rushing a swim. I don’t like swimming really fast, nor rushing to get over there and start a swim. Deadlines. I don’t like the anxiousness of deadlines, and rushing to publish before that deadline. Running. I don’t like rushing a run… or running to catch a train or a bus. Packing up in the morning. Not fun, and I might forget something....

I really like the view from i70 right at the start of the foothills. Its looking south to the Palmer Divide in in the distance you can see Pikes Peak. Usually I am traveling in the afternoon and the dust in the air picks up the shadows and light coming from the south which gives it a prehistoric look as there are no human buildings in the distance. I haven’t really spent any time in the foothills, which are very dry right now....

I need to get back in the habit of Godot study. There are a couple reasons I dropped off… Focusing more on Boot.dev which is Python study right now. I want to keep my streak alive for January, and I am using Boots alot to help… but I feel like I am learning too. I want to run more. I want to make time to exercise as a highest priority of the entire day....

I cant wait to inlcude these passenger rail routes. But first I need to go back and visit them in person. During our dev meeting today, we talked about going the extra mile, and the dev re-phrased it as “Travel extra trip, its always worth it.” I think doing a road trip to these locations would be worth the extra trip.

I was thinking of being a remote worker… for my self. The Steam Fest deadline is fast approaching and I think only the store page has to be published for me to put my application in for Jan 5th. I have so many ideas using the game engine that I am looking forward to implementing them… but I am also thinking of making more time for doing the development work. So I am looking forward to being a remote self-worker some day....
